13 Aug Progress Update: 1281 Tramore Road in Marion

Today, we wanted to share with you an update on our custom home build at 1281 Tramore Road in Marion. It’s an exciting time, as all of the fixtures and cabinets have been installed, and painting and carpeting are complete as well. 

We are still on track to be finished in late summer, and this gorgeous new home will be awaiting its future owners! 

The 3-bedroom, 2.5-bathroom home offers a split bedroom floor plan in addition to an atrium walk-out basement. The home is priced at $385,900, and interested buyers are encouraged to reach out to us for more information.

The Uptown Marion District is filled with a variety of adorable shops, restaurants, galleries, and more. The Main Street Iowa District is focused on driving growth in the area and also making local enhancements with revitalization projects. One of the most anticipated is the Safety and Beautification Project that will create a more pedestrian-friendly shopping district. 

Uptown Marion Main Street Director Brooke Prouty adds, “It’s great to see businesses and municipalities come together to make projects like this happen. Small enhancements can have a big impact, and we’re excited to see how it affects pedestrian traffic in the district.”

Foodies are eager to welcome Goldfinch Tap + Eatery, a restaurant and bar combination at 740 10th Street. Josh Immerfall, a native of Marion, says the menu focuses on American favorites with chef-inspired twists. Their tap list is diverse and interesting, while they also offer scratch cocktails and seasonally-inspired beverages and menu items. Goldfinch Tap + Eatery is slated to open in late summer or early fall. 

Another well-loved annual summer tradition is the Uptown Getdown that takes place every Thursday evening in August. Presented by the Marion Chamber Platinum Community Partners, visitors will be treated to live music, food, and more at Marion Square Park from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m.
