24 Apr Top 10 Items to Bring Some Spring Into Your Home
Spring has sprung, and now is the perfect time to lighten up your home’s decor with some beautiful spring products! Here is a quick roundup of some of our favorite products right now:
Copper
Copper is so on trend right now, and it’s a great way to mix a rich metal into your home design. Consider making a spring centerpiece with a copper and glass terrarium. This is a wonderful home for a display of your favorite succulents, or even collected items like rocks or seashells from a vacation.
Who doesn’t love a bit of color in their kitchen? Especially when it pulls double-duty as your cookware! Cast iron has long been revered by chefs for it’s amazing durability and cooking properties, and now you can find gorgeous pieces in some of spring’s vibrant hues like the Le Creuset Signature Cast Iron Round Dutch Oven in Caribbean, Lapis or Rose.
Marble Wallpaper
Marble is amazingly light and pleasing to the eye, but it’s very expensive! One idea is to incorporate marble wallpaper into your design to achieve a similar visual effect that is sophisticated and very much on-trend. The natural cracking in the paper mimics the pattern of real marble at a fraction of the cost!
Steamer Trunks
There is something special about an old steamer or antique trunk that has a story to tell in your home. And they make amazing storage for off-season clothing! Look at your local thrift or consignment shop for one, or consider purchasing a new model trunk that has the look and feel of something from yesteryear.
Leather Drawer Handles
Changing out your drawer handles or pulls is a quick and easy way to change the entire look and dynamic of a room! These leather drawer pulls are so simple and rustic, and would be a great way to give new life to an old dresser or spruce up your kitchen drawers too.
The following items are especially near and dear to our hearts! Staged Dwellings – an online home store – was founded by our very own Kari Dahl, and they do an amazing job at curating unique home accents and decor with a vintage farmhouse vibe.
Boxwood Wreaths
If you’re looking for a quick way to bring some cheer to your front door, consider these boxwood wreaths. Hung by a beautiful bow, they’re the perfect way to make a great first impressing with visiting guests.
Magnolias
The pure white petals of magnolias are the epitome of spring as they contrast with their green foliage. And these lovely magnolia branches are a wonderful way to incorporate the flower into your floral centerpiece arrangement or a mantel display.
Succulents
We talked about using succulents in the copper terrarium, but an equally appealing way to display these amazingly durable plants is to set out potted ones. These small potted succulents would be so perfect in a window display or on a kitchen counter, and they’re relatively low-maintenance as well.
Thistle Stems
Grab an empty jug and some of these thistle stems, and be prepared for an instant pop of spring in your home! The colors are just delightful, so set this on your coffee table or in an outdoor space, kick back and enjoy the view.
